I am a London based artist specialized in the art of mapping. I was trained as a landscape architect, and cartography has always been my favourite tool for expression.

My maps are all handmade and tell a story about our surrounding landscapes. They aim at exploring the connection between nature, people and places.

PHOTOGRAPHY

I use photography as a tool to support the mapping process and to document the maps. Each picture aims at collecting the beauty of the site and its singularity. It's a great tool for exploration and helps to look at landscapes with a different eye and a variety of frames.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE

Landscape Architecture combines art, analytical

studies and creativity to propose meaningful and thoughtful change to the built environment. I deal with human impacts, sciences of sustainable practices and social behavior, to ensure the design of a healthy future. Through an analytical process, I aim to understand the weaknesses, the strenghts and the potential of a site to give the best answer to the people’s needs. I believe that free handsketching research associated to digital technologies is the necessary mix to boost creativity and push a project forward.
